Sceau – stamps and verification
Sceau is a free desktop application (macOS, Windows, Linux) that signs your PDFs with your Belgian identity card and places an armorial seal on them. The seal's QR code leads to a page of this site, where the recipient finds the name, mention and date declared by the signer.

A seal page (/V/…) shows data declared by the signer, not verified by this site. « Verify a signed PDF » checks the integrity of the document and reads the name written in the certificate, without checking that it comes from a recognised authority; for a complete check, use the European Union validator.
GDPR compliance and security (OWASP) checked by AI agents – model Claude Sonnet 5.5 (claude-sonnet-5-5) – last check on 2026-10-11 – open findings: GDPR 10, security 15 including 1 of high or critical severity, being addressed – automated check, not a certification.
Privacy: a seal page shows what the signer chose to publish (declared name, mention, type of reservation, date); it is encrypted on the server and erased at expiry or as soon as they withdraw it. IP addresses are kept in memory for at most one hour to limit abuse, with no access log. No cookies, no audience measurement. Full privacy notice
